Service Manager wanted for busy family owned auto repair facility located in Nokomis, FL. We perform mechanical repairs and maintenance to cars, SUVs, light & medium duty trucks, all makes and models. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm. No weekends. Drug & smoke-free workplace.
MAIN DUTIES:
Create estimates and invoices
Open and close the shop
Schedule appointments
Source parts from multiple vendors
Collect payments from customers
Communicate with customers before, during and after repairs
Delegate work to the technicians
Maintain shop flow by moving around cars and assisting technicians as needed
Perform final visual inspection on vehicles before customer delivery
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years recent experience managing all aspects of an auto repair facility.
Familiar with Mitchell 1 software or equivalent
Clean cut, personable & professional appearance
Background in auto repair preferred
Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, local residence.
Must pass a background check
Own a functional alarm clock
Candidate must be available each day to open and close the shop. This can mean coming in and/or staying an additional 30 minutes or more each day dependent on the schedule. We are looking for someone to become part of the team and grow with us. This is a great working environment with a friendly staff.
This position is offered with a base salary plus commission. We are busy year round and someone with the right qualifications has a good opportunity to make a great paycheck. Pay is dependent on experience and will be discussed during the interview. If you take care of us, we will take care of you.
