AutoCAD Drafter|Preconstruction Coordinator Apply
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an AutoCAD Drafter/Preconstruction Coordinator to join one of the oldest, well-established construction companies in the United States. The successful candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and comfortable in a full-time drafting position.
Responsibilities will include but aren't limited to: shop drawings, submittal logs, sample submittals and field measuring on sites in NYC. The candidate shall have the capability of multi-tasking and must have good communications skills to relate to clients, construction/design professionals, vendors and his/her peers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Experienced with submittal logs, product data submittals, sample submittals, shop drawings, logistics & phasing plans, field measuring on sites in NYC, quantifying drawings & material ordering and material cost database is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Comfortable traveling to project sites in NYC 1-2 days a month.
- Experience with REVIT is a plus.
- Required work authorization: United States
