My client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Automation Engineer III to enhance manufacturing capabilities through the design, development, and optimization of automated systems. In this role, you will lead automation projects from concept to completion, supporting production efficiency, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across their manufacturing operations.Client DetailsMy client is a cutting-edge plastics manufacturing company at the forefront of innovation. They specializes in providing unique solutions and have been a driving force in the industry for over 30 years. DescriptionThe Automation Engineer III will report directly into the R&D Team Lead and be responsible for: Design, develop, and implement automation systems and controls to support thermoforming and downstream manufacturing processes.Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision systems, and other automation technologies.Lead automation projects including equipment specification, integration, installation, and validation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering) to optimize manufacturing processes.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, user manuals, and change control records.Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions related to automation failures.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing throughput, reducing downtime, and improving product quality.Ensure automation systems comply with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and internal quality standards.Apply today for immediate consideration!
