Role: Automation Engineer
Location: McPherson, KS
Duration: 6-12 months
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Automation Engineer to support automation systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment. The role involves troubleshooting, integrating, and maintaining automation equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide automation engineering support on-site for clients.
- Integrate, start up, debug, and troubleshoot automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, DCS, MES, etc.).
- Work in a GMP environment to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support the automation team in achieving goals and resolving issues with equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Automation Systems: Experience with Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, Delta-V, etc.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, MES, and other equipment.
- GMP Knowledge: Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience: At least 3 years in equipment automation engineering, ideally in aseptic fill/finish processes.
