Key Responsibilities As an Automation Engineer, you will:Quote, design, implement, test, commission, and evaluate automation system hardware and software systemsProgram and troubleshoot Rockwell and Siemens PLCs and HMIsCollaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutionsEnsure customer satisfaction by addressing expectations and delivering exceptional resultsCoordinate with internal teams and shop personnel to ensure smooth executionPerform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)Experience and Qualifications What You’ll Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in Automation & Controls EngineeringProficient in PLC and HMI programming, with expertise in Rockwell and Siemens systemsStrong oral and written communication skillsProficiency in Word, Excel, and OutlookAttention to detail and ability to collaborate in a team environmentFlexibility to travel (up to 30%) and work on-call as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and navigate tight spacesAbility to crouch, crawl, and work on the ground as neededLift up to 25-50 pounds occasionallyUse of hands for handling tools and small componentsEmployment is conditional on passing a background check and drug screening, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
