The Judge Group is seeking an Controls Engineer for a global manufacturing Group located in Sioux City, IA.COMPENSATION: 100k - 120k based on experience (plus bonus)MUST HAVE: A US Citizen or a Green Card Holder (No exceptions please)RELOCATION: Provided for the right candidateMUST HAVE: AS/BS (Engineering Preferred)MUST HAVE: 2+ years of Automation / Instrumentation experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferably in food or pharma)MUST HAVE: Able to travel as needed (About 20%)RESPONSIBILITIES:- Work on automation and process engineering projects and challenges- Participate in Capital Projects and Process Improvement projects- Manage engineering projects- Work with operations personnel on automation and process problems- Maintain automation database management- Oversee automation systems (PLC’s, HMI, Clients (Thick & Thin), Networks, UPS, etc)- Develop process control integration projects- Program and test PLC and HMI based control systems- Run acceptance testing procedures- Perform root cause analysis- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and participate in the rotating on-call system to provide 24/7/365 coverage for the sitesREQUIREMENTS:- BS in Engineering )EE, CE, ME)- 2+ years of Automation / Instrumentation experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferably in food or pharma)- Able to travel as needed (About 20%)
