Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Java to join our dynamic QA team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our software products.
- This role involves collaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
- Maintain and update existing test scripts to adapt to changes in the application.
- Analyse test results, diagnose issues, and provide thorough report to the development team.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain the quality of the test codebase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve test coverage.
- Continuously research and recommend new tools and frameworks to enhance the automation process.
- Develop strategies for testing complex features and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute comprehensive test plans and document test results.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Selenium automation testing and Java programming.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in test management tools such as JUnit/TestNG.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
