To support the development of our Engineering Design Office and accompany new pharma/chemical projects, we are seeking an Automation Expert to strengthen our technical team. You will contribute to the definition and coordination of automation activities within the detail design phase. This position plays a strategic role in expanding our engineering offering.ABOUT THE POSITION:You will be responsible for defining Automation & Control requirements during the detail design phase:Translate process needs into functional specifications (URS, FS)Define automation architecture: DCS/PLC, field networks, smart instrumentationPrepare I/O lists, interlock definitions, cause & effect matricesSupport coordination with the client’s internal automation teamParticipate in technical reviews, HAZOP, and FAT/SAT documentationEnsure compliance with pharma standards (GAMP5, GMP, data integrity)ABOUT YOU:Degree in automation, electrical engineering, or electromechanics5 years’ minimum experience in automation within the pharma/chemical industryKnowledge of common DCS/PLC systems (DeltaV, PCS7, ABB, Schneider, etc.)Strong technical writing capabilitiesFluent in French and EnglishAvailable as soon as possibleABOUT US:Vulcain Engineering is a group specialized in the energy sector that supports companies active in Renewable & Nuclear Energy, Gas & Infrastructure through our Study Offices and Consultancy services.
