Job Title: Automation Specialist

Location: Rensselaer, NY

Duration: 6 months (Contract)

Job Summary

As an Automation Specialist at Regeneron, you will design, develop, and implement software and hardware improvements for automated systems in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. You will support Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Facilities by troubleshooting, investigating anomalies, and providing technical solutions through PLCs and HMIs. Additionally, you will create engineering design documents, develop test plans, and execute FAT/SAT protocols while following cGMP and GAMP 5 guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and implement automation systems for equipment.
• Provide technical support using PLCs and HMIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues and deviations.
• Develop engineering documents, test plans, and follow regulatory guidelines (GAMP 5, cGMP).
• Support manufacturing and validation projects.
• Execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
