Our client, a manufacturer that transforms volcanic rock into sustainable, innovative products that improve lives and communities is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team. As an Automation Technician, you will be a part of a new, fully automated facility, to help troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated equipment. This position will work a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation from 6PM-6AM (48 hours one week and 36 hours the next week).   Job Title: Automation Technician Location: Kearneysville, WV 25430 Pay Range: $37-$42/HR + $2k sign on bonus  **Will pay relocation**   What's the Job? Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communication software. Perform Electrical and PLC tasks including but not limited to the following: Calibrating, monitoring, repairing and maintaining transmitters, controllers, plant safety systems, power systems and sensors. Maintain equipment by way of planned preventive maintenance programs, keeping maintenance records per company policies as well as advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic equipment during shift. Install, calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical instrumentation, equipment and associated electrical/electronic controls and related devices for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. This position will work a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation from 6PM-6AM (48 hours one week/36 hours next week)   What’s Needed?  2-year degree or equivalent certification or work experience required. 2-3 years’ practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and with automated equipment required. Proficient knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers(PLC)/Automation, specifically Siemens and Endress+Hauser instrumentation;   What’s in it for me?
