Job Description
We have three exciting openings for the position of Automation Technician. This role operates on a 2-2-3 schedule with shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. Please note that initially, there will be a training session during daylight hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This training could last up to six months until you are proficient in all areas.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including molding machines, high volume, high speed automated assembly equipment, welders, conveyor systems, and auxiliary equipment such as case sealers, printers, labelers, and flow wrappers.
- Verify the effectiveness of repairs and improvements to ensure the product meets specifications.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, gathering information from line operators and production associates, and listening for issues.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and automation systems.
- Ability to verify effectiveness of repairs and ensure product specifications.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role within a production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Automation, technical degree, certification, or apprenticeship in a related field is preferred.
- Maintenance experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is preferred.
