Automation Technician - Phoenix, AZOpenings:2nd Shift: 2 positions available (3 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.)3rd Shift: 3 positions available (11 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.)** All positions are 6 months, contract to hire opportunities**Pay Rate: $30/hr to $33/hrRequirements:Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, electrical, and PLC or robotic experience.Responsibilities:As one of our Automation Technicians, you will be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing our production equipment. Your key duties will include:Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipmentGaining in-depth product knowledge to maintain high equipment performance and uptimeInteracting with automated production machinesDetailed Responsibilities:Reports to: Manager, Automation SupportMaintenance: Ensure equipment supports manufacturing operations effectively.Communication: Keep line leads and supervisors informed about equipment status.Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment malfunctions, decide on corrective actions, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues.Work Orders: Fulfill assigned and ad-hoc tasks in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).Inventory: Manage parts in CMMS to keep inventory levels accurate.Process Reviews: Participate in process reviews for products.Problem Solving: Engage in both individual and team brainstorming and problem-solving activities.Safety: Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety guidelines.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent certificationStrong mechanical and pneumatic knowledge and aptitudeMinimum of 3 years of experience as a technician working with complex equipmentPreferred experience with automated assembly equipment and high-volume automated systemsAbility to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawingsDesired background in troubleshootingBasic computer skillsPositive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to expand professional knowledge
