About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to perform work efficiently and accurately in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.

  • Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues in components and systems.

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

  • Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor to provide repair recommendations and time estimates.

  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed according to manufacturer and warranty specifications.

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional and positive attitude.

  • Stay current with new automotive technology and participate in ongoing training.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.

  • GM experience or certification preferred.

  • Recognized as a Journeyman Technician or equivalent skill level.

  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.

  • Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and read technical manuals.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
