About the Role
Matt Bowers Chevrolet is hiring a proven New or Used Car Sales Manager to drive volume, gross, and CSI. You'll recruit and develop a high-performance team, lock in disciplined CRM/process execution, and own the monthly game plan-forecast to delivery-while partnering tightly with F&I, Service, and Marketing.

Own the plan: Build monthly/annual forecasts for units, gross, F&I penetration, and key expenses; track and course-correct daily.

Build the team: Hire, train, coach, and hold sales pros accountable; set aggressive, realistic goals and run impactful daily/weekly meetings.

Run the floor: Schedule coverage, desk deals, structure trades, support closes; maintain a customer-focused sales, delivery, and follow-up process.

Process & compliance: Enforce dealership policies and all federal/state regs; maintain accurate daily logs, prospecting controls, and purchaser follow-up systems.

CRM discipline: Ensure rapid lead response, appointment setting, and 100% documentation of all activities.

Inventory & merchandising: Review inventory daily; recommend the right new-car mix by model/color/equipment; partner with Used Cars on appraisals and turn.

Marketing & promotions: Coordinate advertising, digital retailing, and showroom merchandising with the GSM/Dealer to drive qualified traffic.

F&I & gross: Elevate front-end PVR and F&I penetration with structured programs, training resources, and spiff plans.

Delivery standards: Set/maintain delivery checklists, schedule first service at delivery, and ensure 24-hour post-sale follow-up.

Administration: Complete deal settlement sheets promptly; process commissions; provide accurate floor-traffic data; maintain professional appearance.

Proven success as a New or Used Car Sales Manager in a franchised dealership (Chevrolet/GM or domestic brand experience strongly preferred).

Track record growing volume and gross while improving CSI.

Expert desking, trade valuations, inventory planning, pricing strategy, and digital/BDC lead management.

Strong coaching chops: road-to-the-sale, walk-around/demos, objection handling, and closing.

Fluent with CRM/DMS, retail math, and KPI management (appointments, shows, close %, PVR, VSC/GAP penetration).

Valid driver's license; ability to work a retail schedule.
