Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to perform integration, validation, and testing of autonomous systems on heavy machinery. You will be involved in both practical machine testing and data-driven analysis, working closely with software developers, expert operators, and customers to ensure robust system performance and alignment with user needs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on experience with heavy machinery: Develop practical expertise in operating and testing large vehicles in real-world environments.
  • Autonomous systems knowledge: Build understanding of hardware, software, and user interactions in autonomous systems.
  • Test and validation planning: Design and execute comprehensive test plans to evaluate autonomous systems’ performance and reliability.
  • On-machine testing: Conduct tests directly on vehicles to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Data analysis: Analyze operational and system data to identify improvements and optimize performance.
  • Collaboration with software teams: Work closely with software engineers to align technical requirements and validate implementations.
  • Customer interaction: Gather feedback from end users to inform system design and enhance usability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with heavy machinery or large vehicles.
  • Understanding of autonomous vehicle systems, including hardware and software.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and document testing and validation procedures.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data to support system improvements.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with engineering teams and end users.
