Aviation Business Development Manager Apply
Description Leidos' Airborne Solutions Business Area (ASBA) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and grow the company's airborne manned and unmanned portfolio of programs. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new opportunities, manage program captures, proposals, and strategic planning. Responsibilities include participating in program reviews, managing investment funds, and building relationships with external and internal customers. The successful candidate will have experience in the Defense Industry, with a focus on airborne systems and full life cycle programs. Duties include customer relationship management, business development, and capture management. Required expertise includes US Army aviation capabilities and systems, technologies and operations, and full life cycle operations and sustainment. The primary responsibilities involve developing and executing strategic plans, identifying business opportunities, and working with the team to develop capture plans. Qualifications include a degree with relevant experience, an active TS Clearance, extensive industry or DoD experience, proven capture and proposal experience, and exceptional communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with manned and unmanned aerial systems, business development with US Army and International Partner Nations, formal capture and proposal writing training, marketing and bid and proposal budget management, and experience interfacing at all organization levels. The pay range for this job level is $122,200.00 - $220,900.00.
