JOB TITLE: Avionics Bench Tech
LOCATION: Fort Walton Beach, FL
PAY RATE: $35-$43/hour

Summary:

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems by replacing or upgrading components to correct issues or implement changes.

• Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhauls. Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

• Perform validation and verification testing on systems and components.

• Document procedures, test results, modifications, and inspections to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

• Inspect components and verify repairs for flightworthiness.

• Provide training and guidance as needed.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate degree + 2 years' related work).

• High School Diploma or GED

• Knowledge of aircraft wire assembly and termination procedures

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes

• Soldering qualifications
