Summary:
-
Perform assembly, disassembly, inspection, and testing of harnesses, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and components.
-
Conduct self-inspections and final inspections.
-
Read and interpret technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, build instructions, and test plans.

Install inline components and harnesses on air vehicles, performing terminations and inspections as needed.

Adhere to EHS standards and wear required PPE.

Follow IPC standards:
-
IPC-J-STD-001: Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies.
-
IPC-A-610: Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
-
IPC/WHMA-A-620: Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies.
-
Required Skills:
-
5 7+ years of experience in avionics or electronics assembly.

Proficient in IPC 610, IPC 620, and J-Standard soldering.

Experience with MS Office is a plus.

High school diploma required.
-
Certifications in IPC standards are highly desirable.
Role Details:
-
Location: Onsite (AVA). Relocation at own expense accepted.

Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift (7 AM 4 PM, flexible).

Duration: 5 6 months, with possible extension or FTE conversion based on workload.

Travel: Occasional travel to WV site for harness installs.

Physical Requirements: Lift within EHS safety limits; PPE required.
