JOB TITLE: Avionics Wire Harness Routing Engineer

Job Details:

Summary:

• Developing wire harness routing paths for vehicles, collaborating with the team, using Catia 3DX, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

• Responsibilities also include conducting design reviews, managing production support, and handling change requests and non-conformances.

Required Skills

• B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), or 5 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in integrating wire harnesses in a vehicle.

• Understanding of Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS) principles.

• Knowledge of aircraft-type wiring and components (connectors, backshells, conduits, relays, switches, terminal junctions, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Catia V5 and Catia 3DX.

• Design and shop floor experience.

• Experience with mechanical components (machined parts, sheet metal, composite lay-up).

• Familiarity with electrical databases (e.g., Mentor Graphics).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio.

• Experience with flight test instrumentation sensors.
