Job Title: AWS Cloud Administrator/Engineer
Duration: 6-12 Months (Possible Extension or Conversion)
Location: Owings Mills, MD (Onsite 2 Days/Week)

We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Administrator/Engineer to join our team in Owings Mills, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS infrastructure, automation, and troubleshooting within an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environment. You will work on Terraform for infrastructure automation, GitOps workflows, and process automation using Python. Experience with GitLab, PowerShell scripting, and Windows AMI is also desired. This role involves supporting and managing infrastructure issues such as troubleshooting, patching, and installation.

• AWS Cloud Administration: Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and other AWS services. Provide support for infrastructure issues such as troubleshooting, installation, and patching.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Work on Terraform to automate infrastructure deployment and management.
• GitOps Workflows: Implement and manage GitOps workflows to automate processes and streamline infrastructure changes using GitHub and GitLab.
• Automation and Scripting: Utilize Python for automation tasks, including reading and adjusting automation code. Some experience with PowerShell is also desired.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and other tools.
• DevOps Practices: Manage DevOps environments and workflows, ensuring smooth integration and deployment using tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Shell/Bash scripting.
• Monitoring Tools: Assist in the transition from Splunk to Pathfinder, and monitor infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus, Alert Manager, or similar.

• AWS Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and more.
• Infrastructure Support: Proven experience troubleshooting, patching, and installing AWS-based infrastructure.
• Terraform: Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
• Python Scripting: Experience using Python for automation and scripting.
• GitOps & Automation: Strong understanding of GitOps workflows for managing infrastructure changes and process automation.
• CI/CD Experience: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and similar CI/CD tools.
• DevOps Tools: Experience with GitLab, GitHub, and Shell/Bash scripting.

• Experience with Windows AMI (Amazon Machine Image).
• Familiarity with Splunk, Pathfinder, or other monitoring tools like Prometheus and Alert Manager.
• PowerShell Scripting: Some experience with PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain.

• This is a hybrid role based in Owings Mills, MD, with 2 days onsite per week.
