Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is compliant with security standards and industry best practices.
• Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and scalability.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the cloud environment.
• Implement cloud security solutions and manage user access controls, network configurations, and encryption.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment in the cloud.
• Stay up to date with new AWS services, best practices, and tools, and make recommendations for continuous improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration services like ECS or EKS.
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers in AWS.
• Experience in monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, or Prometheus).
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including data encryption and access control policies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
• AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
