AWS Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Netherlands (hybrid)Language: English-speaking environmentWe are looking for an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer to help modernize and further scale a large, enterprise-grade cloud platform. In this role, you will work on the cloud foundation layer that enables secure, scalable, and automated cloud usage for multiple internal teams and products.You’ll be part of a dedicated Cloud Foundation team responsible for delivering standardized and highly automated cloud building blocks such as identity & access management, account provisioning, security controls, and networking — all at large scale across hundreds of AWS accounts.What you will doDesign, build, and improve cloud foundation components with a strong focus on security, stability, and scalabilityDevelop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform, and CloudFormation)Continuously improve automation to reduce operational overheadMonitor AWS service updates and translate relevant innovations into platform improvementsSupport platform operations and participate in on-call / standby rotations (approximately every 5–8 weeks)Collaborate closely with other cloud engineers to share knowledge and best practicesWho you areYou are a hands-on cloud engineer who enjoys working on platform-level challenges and large-scale environments. You bring:4+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutionsStrong hands-on experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, and/or CloudFormationExperience working in large, multi-account AWS environmentsFamiliarity with AWS Platform-as-a-Service offeringsScripting experience with PythonAWS certification (or working towards one)A proactive mindset: you take ownership from design to delivery and actively share learnings with the teamThe team & way of workingYou’ll join a team of around 10 experienced AWS engineers working in a professional, collaborative, and enjoyable environment.
