Job Title: AWS Data Architect with Life Science industry background

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

As an AWS Data Architect, your primary responsibilities will be to design, develop, and implement complex data architecture solutions that align with business objectives and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement data infrastructure and data management solutions on AWS Cloud.
2. Work closely with various teams to ensure data is collected, stored, and managed efficiently and securely.
3. Design and develop data models, database architecture, data warehousing, and data processing solutions.
4. Develop and implement strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
5. Use AWS services like S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, and others to streamline data solutions.
6. Assist in the development and maintenance of data governance policies.
7. Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with specified standards.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
9. Evaluate and optimize data systems for performance efficiency.
10. Stay updated with latest industry trends and advancements in cloud and data technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge and experience with AWS cloud services.
4. Deep understanding of database structure principles, data modeling, and data mining.
5. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
6. Familiarity with data visualization tools.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
9. AWS Certification in Big Data or Solutions Architecture is a plus.
