AWS Data Engineer | Ipswich (Once a month onsite) | £65,000-£80,000Peaple Talent have partnered with a fast-growing, award-winning SaaS organisation operating in the secure payments and customer engagement space.Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for an AWS Data Engineer to take ownership of their data platform and help scale it into a best-in-class, business-critical function.The RoleThis is a hands-on role where you’ll enhance and evolve an AWS-based data ecosystem, supporting analytics and reporting across teams including Product, Finance, and Operations.You’ll play a key role in improving data quality, scalability, and cost efficiency, while helping shape best practices and technical direction.Key ResponsibilitiesImprove and optimise existing data infrastructure (performance, cost, best practice)Build and maintain data pipelines and visualisations using AWS servicesDevelop ETL processes and automation using PythonWrite and optimise SQL queriesCollaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutionsKey RequirementsStrong AWS experience (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, DynamoDB)Python and SQL expertiseKnowledge of ETL and data pipeline designFamiliarity with GitLab and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)What’s on Offer Salary: £65,000-£80,000 Location: Ipswich (Once a month onsite) 25 days holiday (rising with service)️ Private medical, dental & optical cover️ Flexible working + “work from anywhere” (2 weeks/year) EV scheme (UK) Training, development & wellbeing support
