Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a Medical Laboratory Scientist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Assignment Start Date: 2/24/2025
13 weeks | Days | 12-hour shift | 36 hours per week

Please get in touch with a recruiter for full details.The medical Laboratory Scientist performs specimen processing, testing, and reporting of test results in compliance with regulatory requirements, policy and procedures, and the hospital's goal of providing quality patient care. The position is located in a laboratory that provides sub-specialties of service in a hospital setting; chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, phlebotomy, blood bank, microbiology, and clinical microscopy. The laboratory provides 24-hour coverage and the incumbent works rotational, day, evening, or night shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Must have one (1) year of documented bench experience in each specialty of clinical, high-complexity testing.
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in a laboratory, chemical, physical, biological science, Allied Health, Healthcare, or Healthcare Management related field. 35 hours of coursework across various subjects related to clinical laboratory sciences such as biological science, microbiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and mathematics.
Licenses, Certifications, and Registration:
- Medical Laboratory Science certification from a nationally recognized certification agency must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
EMR System: Allscripts experience preferred
Shift: Days, Friday - Sunday, 6 am - 5 pm
Orientation: Every two (2) weeks only.
COVID Exemptions: We do not accept religious exemptions. If a candidate submits for a medical exemption, we will have to get approval from our medical review board to proceed with onboarding
Housing: must be submitted 2 weeks before the start date
