Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a Physical Therapist(PT). We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85016

Assignment Start Date: 12/2/2024

13 weeks | Days | 8-hour shift | 40 hours with 36 hours guaranteed per week

This position provides outpatient orthopedic & sports physical therapy services primarily to a pediatric population from school age through adolescence/young adulthood. The applicant should be adept and comfortable independently managing the complete continuum of professional services from patient access to appropriate coding and billing practices according to legal/ethical guidelines and hospital policy. Performs evaluations, program planning, and treatment of patients using exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, joint and soft tissue mobilization, taping, electrical stimulation, thermal modalities, etc. specific to age, athletic activity, and developmental/functional level determined by assessment. This position will demonstrate an understanding of billing and coding practices as appropriate for professional outpatient services and its revenue cycle.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have at least 2 years experience treating, coaching, or teaching ages 7-18
• At least 2 years of athletic experience as a player, coach, official, etc., preferred
• Sports/Orthopedic physical therapy setting

Education:

• BA or higher degree from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association is required

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy license, before the start date
• BLS for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association before the start date.
• Holds, or is eligible to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) to render and bill for independent professional services before the start date.
• Certified Clinical Specialist (SCS, OCS) preferred
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) preferred
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) preferred
• Dry Needling Certification preferred
• Tool Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization Certification preferred
• Kinesiology or Specialty Taping Certification preferred

Shift: M-F varying hours 10 AM 7:30 PM

COVID/FLU Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required from October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by the Hospital before starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign a Declination & Masking Protocol agreement and must mask during the respiratory virus season.
