Registered Nurse Med/Surg / Observation / Telemetry (Night Shift + Call)

Contract Position | 13 Weeks | Start Date: March 2, 2026
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 36 hours/week | Holiday coverage required

Seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN who is flexible and willing to float between Medical-Surgical, Observation, and Telemetry units as needed. This role also includes an on-call requirement during the contract period.

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical, observation, and telemetry patients

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Float between assigned units as staffing needs require

• Participate in on-call rotation and respond when scheduled

• Active state RN license

• Minimum 4 years of relevant nursing experience

• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

• Willingness to float between departments

• Must be available for night shifts and on-call duties

• Flu vaccination required (no exceptions)

• 13-week contract

• Maximum 3 days off requests per contract

• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per contract

• Guaranteed hours may not apply if shifts are canceled

• On-call required with pager coverage

• Holiday coverage required

• Traveler must not have a permanent address within a 100-mile radius of the hospital

• Contract includes floating, call coverage, and night shift scheduling
