COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children s prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the respiratory virus season. This position performs a variety of technical functions and duties to provide for availability of supplies and equipment and maintains sterile field for operating procedures. Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent 1:1 combination of post-secondary education and experienceExperience Requirements2 or more Surgical Technician experience in a surgery setting.2 or more years of pediatric OR experience Certification/License/Registry RequirementsCurrent BLS certification from the American Heart AssociationCST from NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery from NCCT Preferred
Shift: 6:30 a - 3 p or 6:30 a - 5 p with varying days, with call
