About the jobWe are seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer to take ownership of operational tasks and enhance the stability of our data environments. In this role, you will manage and optimize ETL processes, pipelines, and analytics platforms, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and minimal downtime. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to implement best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and incident/change management across cloud and data platforms.Your JobTake ownership of operational tasks and reduce dependency on existing engineers.Debug and resolve production issues quickly, minimizing downtime and business impact.Enhance stability across Azure, Databricks, and Airflow environments.Improve ETL processes for efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization.Collaborate with the team to implement CI/CD best practices, monitoring, and incident/change management.Participate in incident reviews and root cause analyses to reduce recurring issues.Your ProfileMinimum 7+ years of experience working with Azure.Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark, with a willingness to learn additional languages.Hands-on experience with Databricks, Airflow, and Azure DevOps.Experience with change and incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).Working experience in Scrum/Agile teams.Strong communication skills in English.We OfferHybrid working, with at least 2 days/week on-site.Competitive salary up to €6.300 based on 36h/week25 vacation days.Our ClientOur client is a key player in the financial sector, known for its innovative approach of technology and data.
