Azure Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable data pipelines and ML workflows on Azure to enable efficient data processing and analytics . Rate Range: $53/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Azure Data Engineer Job Responsibilities include: Design and develop scalable data pipelines using PySpark and Azure Synapse for efficient data processing. Build and support end-to-end ML workflows using Azure ML and integrate with data platforms. Ingest, transform, and manage large datasets from Azure Storage ensuring data quality and reliability. Query and analyze data using Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) to generate insights and troubleshooting issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated data and analytics solutions. Monitor, optimize, and maintain pipeline performance, ensuring cost efficiency and system stability. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience in data engineering, big data processing, and Azure-based solutions. Strong expertise in Python, PySpark, Azure Synapse, and data pipeline development for large-scale distributed systems. Hands-on experience with Azure ML, Azure Data Explorer (Kusto), and cloud-based data architecture with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
