Azure Data EngineerWe are Hiring for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, managing large datasets, and working with modern Azure data platform technologies. This role involves working with streaming and batch data processing solutions using Databricks and PySpark while leveraging Azure cloud services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions on the Azure platform.Work with Azure Databricks and PySpark to process both structured streaming and batch workloads.Implement and manage data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).Integrate and process streaming data using Azure Event Hub and Event Grid.Develop and maintain serverless architectures using Azure Functions.Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for large-scale data processing and analytics.Support data platform deployment and infrastructure automation using Terraform.Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, developers, and cloud engineers.Required SkillsStrong experience as an Azure Data Engineer.Proficiency in Python programming.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark (Structured Streaming & Batch processing).Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).Knowledge of Azure Event Hub and Event Grid.Experience with Azure SQL Data Warehouse (SQL DW).Experience building serverless architectures using Azure Functions.Knowledge of Terraform (theoretical knowledge required, practical experience is a plus).Good to Have SkillsExperience with ARM Templates.Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.Knowledge of Kubernetes.Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Understanding of Machine Learning and AI concepts.
