Azure Devops Engineer Apply
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer who will Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines for a data warehouse solution in Azure environment. Work as part of a DevOps team to setup and support application deployment in Azure cloud with strict government security and compliance requirements.
Duties:
- Setup and configure Azure cloud infrastructure for data warehouse solution
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Configure Azure data services (Synapse, Data Lake, Storage)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep)
- Setup automated build and deployment processes
- Configure network security, firewalls, and VPNs per NYC requirements
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Setup Azure Key Vault for secrets management
- Configure Azure Active Directory integration and MFA
- Ensure compliance with NYC security policies and standards
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Establish Express Route connection if required
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps
- Strong Azure expertise (Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification preferred)
- Experience with large-scale data warehouse cloud deployments
- Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Bash)
- Infrastructure as Code expertise (ARM Templates, Terraform, Bicep)
- Azure DevOps proficiency (Repos, Pipelines, Boards)
- Git and TFS version control
- Azure data services experience (Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory)
- Security implementation (Azure Security Center, Azure Policy)
Desirable Qualifications:
- Government project experience, preferably NYC
- Experience with NYC security compliance requirements
- Docker and Kubernetes knowledge
- Experience with ExpressRoute setup
- AppScan/Veracode integration experience
- Disaster recovery planning experience
