The Team

The Fidelity Health Benefits (FHB) Platform team within the Health Care Technology Group (HCG) organization supports the recordkeeping and administration of health benefits (medical, dental and vision plans) and life insurance plans on behalf of Fidelity's corporate clients, their employees and retirees. The technology associates on the FHB Platform team interact with business partners as well as systems partners who have responsibility for client-facing channels such as NetBenefits and Plan Sponsor WebStation . The development teams are located across USA and India. This role is based of North Carolina, USA. Team size is 150+ resources across IT and Product. Highly motivated team works completely on Agile Methodology!

The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Science, or a related field
• 7 - 10 years of DevOps Cloud Engineering experience
• Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (network, security, deployment, automation, serverless technologies), ideally with the related certification
• Hands on experience implementing IaC solutions using any of the following: Bicep, Terraform, ARM Templates, etc
• Experience building preventive and detective measures for managing cloud-based infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-On Kubernetes skills and knowledge, including GitOps for Release Management using ArgoCD, Helm, and/or similar technologies.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies.
• Strong scripting skills in any of the following: Python, Groovy, Unix/shell
• Hands on experience with one or more Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, SplunkCloud, etc.).
• Proven experience in implementing advanced observability practices, including the monitoring of system behavior and resource utilization to identify constraints, prepare for future scaling needs, and ensure optimal system performance.
• Strong technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, etc)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies.
