Azure Solution Architect About the roleWe’re looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect to take technical ownership of a cloud platform within a global Digital Health / Pharma environment.This role is responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the cloud platform strategy, covering infrastructure, deployments, pipelines, databases, and cloud security. You will act as the technical lead for the platform, translating strategic direction into hands-on implementation.You’ll be part of the Operations team, working closely with Software, Mobile, SDK, and Cloud stakeholders. This is a hands-on architecture role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategy, ownership, and execution in a regulated, high-impact environment. What you’ll do Define and own the cloud platform architecture on Microsoft Azure, covering infrastructure, deployments, pipelines, and security. Design, implement, and evolve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support application and platform delivery. Lead the architecture and operation of containerized workloads on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service). Oversee cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and databases. Establish and enforce cloud security best practices, aligned with pharma / regulated industry standards. Translate high-level strategy into practical, implementable solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Work closely with Software and Operations teams to support platform needs and improvements. Act as the technical reference and decision-maker for the platform, driving standardization and best practices. Collaborate with international stakeholders and report progress and decisions to Switzerland-based leadership. Must Have Strong experience as a Solution Architect / Cloud Architect in Microsoft Azure environments. Hands-on background defining and implementing cloud infrastructure and platform architecture. Solid experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. Practical knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and containerized platforms. Experience working with databases and cloud infrastructure components. Strong understanding of cloud security principles, especially in regulated or pharma environments. Experience working in pharma, medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Fluent English and Spanish (daily communication in both languages). Nice to Have Experience defining platform strategy in growing or transforming organizations. Background in Digital Health or medical technology environments. Experience working with international, distributed teams. Familiarity with compliance, audits, or security frameworks in regulated industries. Previous exposure to operating platforms without external providers (fully internalized environments).
