Job Title: Azure SQL DBA Location(s): Berkeley Heights, NJ | Omaha, NE | Frisco, TX - Fully onsite Duration: Contract to hire Hourly pay: Competitive pay (W2 ONLY) no C2C   Strong SQL DB skills with experience working in an Azure Cloud environment needed.   What we are looking for:  Expertise working as a SQL Server DBAExpertise working with SQL clustering, mirroring and high availabilityExperience working with large SQL databasesExpertise in writing Transact SQLExperience tuning Oracle and/or SQL Server databasesExpertise in installing, upgrading, patching and migrating SQL Server databasesExperience working on Windows environmentExperience working with SSIS, SSAS, & SSRSExperience working with Azure CloudMonitor databases to maintain/ensure database uptime and availability.Troubleshoot application/database issues related to connectivity, access, security and etc.Tune long running SQLReview & refine existing database tasks and processes to better align with agency/group priorities.Leverage & utilize O/S scripting utilities in support of database maintenance/diagnosis/support.Review the existing database implementation and propose, execute, and/or direct necessary changes.Perform SQL Server installations (2012,2014,2016 w/ failover clustering).Support SQL Server databases (administration, support, tuning).Knowledgeable of data modeling principals
