JOB DESCRIPTION:

The B2B Sales Account Representative is responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and overseeing the successful execution of projects.
This role involves both sales-related activities and project management, inside and outside of an office setting, to ensure that client needs are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Create and maintain project schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to allocate and manage resources effectively.
    Procure
  • necessary materials and equipment as needed.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet or exceed project specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet quality standards.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and maintain budgetary control.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate budget overruns.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Address and resolve any client concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Keep records of all project-related correspondence and decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and in-house staff.
    Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School degree
  • Project management experience
  • Proven work record of meeting sales goals
  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the industry, products, or services being offered.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Safety certifications and training are preferred.
