Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for Commercial Lines Sales Producers supporting our team in Marlton, NJ!
Reporting to the Commercial Lines Team Leader, the Sales Producer is responsible for promoting the sale of new and renewal business, providing a source of insurance expertise to clients, and assisting in the growth and profitability of the department.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Responsible for the development and successful acquisition of new business revenue from new and existing clients.
- Prospect sectors or market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services - building relationships and brand recognition for Brown & Brown in the Marlton, NJ
- Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, emailing, or making personal visits.
- Maintain currency and further develop expertise in the Commercial Lines market area by networking and participating in professional development activities.
- Attend monthly sales meetings.
- Provide exceptional customer service by corresponding timely and professionally with clients regarding coverages, claims, and other client servicing items.
- Correspond with companies for quoting, binding, etc.
- Apply office procedures and guidelines in accordance with corporate operational regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 3+ years’ experience in B2B Insurance Sales, and/or related experience
- Active New Jersey P&C License or willingness obtain one within 60 days of employment
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial and driven mindset - motivated to build a book of business
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive pay based on experience $70,000 to $110,000
- Base salary + commission
