Position SummaryWe are hiring mid-to-senior Java Spring Boot Developers to join the Financial Crimes Technology pod supporting a high-priority migration from Oracle FCCM to Nice Actimize at a Tier 1 bank. Working under the direction of the Java Technical Lead and Software Architect, these developers will build, configure, and integrate Actimize platform components, write data migration scripts, and contribute to a high-quality, maintainable codebase. Candidates should bring solid Java engineering fundamentals, experience with enterprise financial systems, and ideally some exposure to the Nice Actimize platform or AML technology domain.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Java Spring Boot microservices and modules to extend Nice Actimize platform capabilities for AML transaction monitoring and case managementImplement detection scenario customizations, alert enrichment logic, and workflow extensions using the Actimize Java SDK and REST APIsDevelop and execute data migration scripts to move historical transaction and alert data from Oracle FCCM to Actimize data structuresWrite and maintain integration code connecting Actimize to enterprise upstream and downstream systems (core banking feeds, data warehouses, notification services)Participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectivesWrite comprehensive unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) and integration tests; maintain code coverage standardsSupport system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) — troubleshoot defects and provide timely fixesDocument technical implementations, data mapping specifications, and deployment runbooksCollaborate cross-functionally with the BSA analyst and compliance stakeholders to validate that implemented scenarios meet regulatory requirementsRequired Qualifications10+ years of professional Java development experience in an enterprise or financial services environmentSolid proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful API developmentWorking knowledge of Oracle Database: SQL query writing, stored procedures, and data migration scriptingExperience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps), and Agile deliveryAbility to read and understand data models; experience mapping data between source and target schemasStrong debugging, problem-solving, and code review skillPreferred QualificationsAny exposure to Nice Actimize (SAM, IFM, WLF) — even configuration-level familiarity — is a strong plus.Prior experience in financial services, banking technology, or a RegTech firm.Familiarity with Apache Kafka or messaging middleware for event-driven architectures.Experience with Oracle FCCM, Temenos, Finastra, or similar core banking / financial crimes platforms.Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes for containerized Java deployments.Understanding of AML/BSA concepts and regulatory reporting requirements is advantageous but not required.
