As an experienced developer you try to get the best out of your team.Together with your team members you make technical considerations, develop and you communicate with people in- and outside the organization to achieve the best end result. To be able to fulfil this role properly, it is important that you get to know our codebase and our processes in the KYC & Financial Crime Domain.Take action• Participate in one of the four Scrum teams in the KYC & FC Domain;• Develop banking and customer due diligence (CDD) software, both for our customers and co-workers in the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom;• Implement complete functional changes with your team; you work in all layers of our applications so that your team can autonomously facilitate business change;• Work closely together with the business to understand which business change is wanted and which system change is needed to achieve that;• Focus on quality with a solid continuous integration street, cross-team code reviews and knowledge sessions;• We work with Jakarta EE (Java 11), CDI, OpenAPI, JSF (PrimeFaces) and SQL, among others.ProfileThis is you• We’re looking for a Java developer, with a combination between strong back-end and database competencies, preferably in the banking sector;• You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Java and working with databases;• You have demonstrable experience working with a large and complex codebase, and have no trouble switching context and adapting to changing requirements;• You are an energetic team player, enterprising, self-starting and make well-considered choices. Your way of working is based on mutual respect;• You strive to make continuous improvements, both in technology and in the process, within your own team and the department as a whole. You do this with attention to optimal performance and good manageability. You opt for elegant solutions when feasible and for pragmatic solutions when necessary;• You are willing to work at the Triodos office in Zeist for a minimum of 2 to 3 days a week so you can work directly with your team members;• Experience in- and willingness to take on scrum master responsibilities is a plus• Knowledge of KYC&FC is a plus
