Description:
The Medical Assistant will work at a Family Medical Practice in the Central Columbus area.
- Will room patients, take vitals, and enter patient information.
- Will perform clerical duties such as scheduling patients, answering phone calls, documentation, etc.
- Will help set up procedure rooms for biopsies, women's minor outpatient procedures
- Will train and work alongside another MA for the first week or two, or longer depending on skills
- This is a very very busy practice that has 28 exam rooms, 4 pods - 2 MA stations with a computer in each pod, with 2 MAs assigned to each pod. In one day will assist anywhere from 2-4 providers.
- Must have basic skills including rooming patients, taking vitals, patient care, venipuncture, and blood draws.
- Must have a Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited institution.
