Job Overview:

We are seeking a high-energy, cheerful, and friendly Bakery Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have superb people skills, always wear a smile, and possess a great personality. They must provide excellent customer service, multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, be proficient with social media, and skillfully upsell our delightful products to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly with a smile and create a welcoming atmosphere.

• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.

• Assist customers with selecting bakery items, providing enthusiastic recommendations.

• Upsell bakery products by highlighting specials, new items, and customer favorites.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously.

• Actively promote bakery products and specials on social media platforms to engage customers and drive sales.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

• Assist in inventory management and restocking of bakery items as needed.

• Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a clean and safe workspace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• High energy, always smiling, with a positive attitude and a genuine love for interacting with people.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.

• Proficient with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and basic marketing strategies.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Prior experience in a bakery or food service environment is a plus.
