Bayside Counselor Ii Apply
Bayside is a partial care program assisting youth, ages 11-17 years old, with emotional and behavioral needs through psycho-education, counseling, and support 5 days per week. Bayside’s goal is to prevent unnecessary hospitalization or effectively transition youth from hospitalization to successful home and community living. Bayside operates Monday-Friday, September through June from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and July and August from 10:45 am to 4:15 pm.
Position Title: Bayside Counselor II
Position Type: Full Time; 35 Hours Weekly

Salary: $40,000 - $42,000
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision of consumers, facilitate social, recreational wellness and ADL skills groups
- Provide supportive counseling, case management, treatment meetings and behavior management
- Complete medical records adhering to agency, DCBHS, Office of Licensing, Medicaid and procedures
- Coordinate and assist clients with transportation
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of one years experience working with children, adolescents (preferably SED adolescents) and their families
- Valid NJ Driver's License with less than six (6) points
