Behavioral Health Provider - OutpatientJoin Our Team at Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc.Valley-Wide Health Systems is seeking an Outpatient Behavioral Health Provider to deliver counseling and therapeutic services in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. This role supports individuals and families through assessment, treatment, and care coordination using evidence-based approaches as part of an integrated care team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient behavioral health services, including individual, family, couples, substance use, and group therapy within scope of licensureConduct diagnostic assessments and screenings to determine appropriate levels of care and treatment needsAssess and respond to crises using appropriate clinical interventionsDevelop and implement individualized, biopsychosocial treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and care teamsDeliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and psychotherapy aligned with organizational standardMaintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record in compliance with HIPAA, billing, and regulatory requirementsSupport patient stability and recovery through care planning and relapse prevention strategiesCoordinate care and referrals with internal departments and external community partnersConnect patients to services addressing social determinants of health, including community and support resourcesParticipate in team meetings and collaborative activities supporting Valley-Wide's integrated care modelBuild and maintain relationships with community providers, agencies, and stakeholders to support behavioral health servicesRequirementsCAS (Certified Addiction Specialist) or a Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, or clinical social workCurrent Colorado licensure as a Behavioral Health Provider (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) or ability to obtain licensure in ColoradoLicensed Addiction Counselor or MA-level clinician with CAS preferredTwo years of clinical experience preferredKnowledge of behavioral health assessments, psychotherapy, crisis evaluation, and interventionFamiliarity with DSM-5 / ICD-10 diagnostic standardsExperience providing cognitive and behavioral interventions to individuals, families, couples, and groupsStrong interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligenceProficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications (Word processing, spreadsheets)Ability to collaborate across systems and build effective working relationshipsValid Colorado driver's license with ability to travel as neededAbility to pass a Behavioral Health background investigationWhy Join Valley-Wide?Valley-Wide is an approved site for the Colorado Health Service Corps and National Health Service Corps loan repayment programs, offering eligible providers up to $90,000 for delivering care in our rural communities.Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered healthcare to all individuals across our multi-county service area in southern Colorado.
