Circle Pines, MN 55014 US Posted: 01/18/26 2026-01-16 2026-02-17 Job Description Benefits & Leave Specialist - Temporary Leave Coverage - Hybrid, Blaine, MN Are you a skilled Benefits & Leave Specialist open to a high‑impact temporary opportunity? The Right Staff is partnering with a dynamic global distributor to identify a knowledgeable Benefits & Leave Specialist to provide leave coverage on their Total Rewards team. This role is ideal for an experienced benefits professional who can step in confidently, ensure continuity, and deliver excellent employee experience during the leave period. This is a temporary position covering a leave of absence, expected to last approximately 4 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs. Essential Job Duties Serve as the subject matter expert for employee benefits, managing day‑to‑day transactions and inquiries within Ceridian Dayforce. Support new hires with benefits overviews, enrollment assistance, and timely responses to questions. Administer various leave programs (FMLA, disability, parental, military), partnering with third‑party vendors and HR colleagues to ensure compliance and consistency. Collaborate with Payroll on benefit deductions, paid leave coordination, and premium collection during leaves. Process benefit enrollments and updates related to life events, new hires, and terminations for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and related plans across North America. Reconcile monthly carrier invoices, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. Assist with compliance reporting (ACA, OSHA) and maintain accurate, audit‑ready benefit documentation. Support wellness initiatives and ongoing program administration. Oversee COBRA administration and regulatory timelines. Provide support with workers' compensation claims as needed. Minimum Requirements 3-5 years of hands‑on experience administering employee benefits programs, including leave of absence management (self‑funded environment preferred). 1-2 years of experience using Ceridian Dayforce strongly preferred. Working knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits and leave compliance requirements. Position Details, Pay, & Schedule Temporary leave coverage role. Position is based out of the Blaine, MN facility. Hybrid schedule available after initial training period. Hourly pay ranges from $35 to $40/hr.
