About the Role The role involves entering Benefit enrollment data for new hires and employee changes into the HR system for US & Canada, supporting field/branch personnel with questions about Benefit enrollment, and running various reports. Responsibilities Entering Benefit enrollment data for new hires and employee changes into the HR system for US & Canada Supporting field/branch personnel with questions about Benefit enrollment Running various reports and creating reports Interacting with third-party vendors and reviewing vendor discrepancy reports to resolve enrollment related issues related to data entry and transmission Administering company sponsored 401(k) plan and processing 401(k) distribution requests Administering company sponsored FSA plan and processing of new enrollments Weekly processing of FSA funding Monthly vendor invoice reconciling and uploading to accounting for US and Canadian benefits Filing of employee benefit paperwork and creation of employee folders Communicate with corporate and the field with benefit plan offerings Maintain NE4U Benefits and Wellness page Coordinate with Director and Manager of Compensation and Benefits on best practices and format of NE4U Benefits page Maintain and update processes Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred Some business accounting experience Required Skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Power Point); experience using Oracle preferred Knowledge of basic office equipment 1 to 3 years of experience performing data entry into HRIS systems preferred 1 to 3 years of experience in a Benefit related role, preferably with both US and Canadian Benefits 1 to 3 years of experience handling group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA plans Experience providing support to internal and external customers Knowledge of HIPAA Solid experience utilizing databases Ability to accurately process a very high volume of data entry on a daily basis Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and customer service Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical/problem solving skills Equal Opportunity Statement At Summit School Services our goal is to be a diverse workforce that is representative of the communities we serve.
