The Benefits Specialist II leads the design, implementation, and management of global benefits programs across the US, UK, Germany, and France. Reporting directly to the Head of People Technology & Operations, this role ensures all benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and strategically aligned with company values. The position requires strategic oversight, hands-on operations, and the ability to influence both local and global stakeholders, making a direct impact on employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize global benefits strategies in alignment with organizational goals and regional regulations.
- Oversee day-to-day benefits operations, including vendor management, plan administration, and annual renewals.
- Serve as escalation point for complex benefits issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Prepare and present benefits strategy and program changes for committee review and approval.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international benefits-related regulations.
- Manage global benefits budget, monitor trends, and drive cost efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and global benefits teams to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Lead effective benefits communications for employees through multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Support integration and alignment efforts with Bayer and BlueRock benefits teams.
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years global benefits strategy and operations experience
- In-depth knowledge of benefits regulations in the US, UK, Germany, France
- Strong financial acumen and vendor management expertise
- Advanced project management and analytical abilities
- High discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive data
- Experience preparing and presenting to senior leadership
