Trident serves prominent industries such as cruise, military, offshore oil and gas, and commercial shipping markets. With expertise in cryogenic insulation, hybrid propulsion, energy management, and environmental solutions, Trident supports projects in shipyards worldwide, from the United States to Africa, Sweden, and South Korea. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Iron Mountain, MI. As a Benefits Specialist, you will manage day-to-day benefits administration, including overseeing enrollments, claims, and compliance with policies such as the U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The role also involves maintaining effective communication with employees, responding to questions related to benefits, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a smooth experience. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with insurance providers and internal teams to support benefits operations. Qualifications Proficient knowledge of Benefits Administration and experience with insurance policies and procedures. Understanding of relevant regulations, including the U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to address employee concerns effectively. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in HR, benefits administration, or related domains is highly desirable.
