Beverage Manufacturing Sr Project Manager Apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, from conception to completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Strong design and operational experience for CIP systems
- Coordinate and oversee contractors, engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Create process design documents and deliverables for all project phases, including mass & energy balances, utility distribution plans, P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment specifications
- Plan and execute capital projects for system capacity expansion and process upgrades
- Review and upgrade facilities specifications
- Conduct engineering studies and contribute to system improvements
- Provide regular project status updates and incident reviews to management
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and FDA requirements
- Act as the primary contact for systems incident resolution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and efficiency
- Apply in-depth knowledge of beverage chemistry and manufacturing processes to guide project decisions and ensure optimal outcomes for different beverage styles
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited institution, or alternative acceptable education
- 5+ years of experience in the food, dairy, beverage/brewery, or personal care industries
- 2+ years of experience as a project manager or engineering lead
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and FDA regulations
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-million dollar projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
- Willingness to travel for project requirements, client meetings, and industry events
- Thorough chemical understanding of different beverage styles (e.g., carbonated soft drinks, juices, teas, alcoholic beverages) and their specific manufacturing requirements
- Demonstrated ability to apply beverage chemistry knowledge to optimize production processes and solve complex manufacturing challenges
- Experience in formulation, ingredient interactions, and quality control specific to various beverage types
