Bilingual Forklift Operator (2nd Shift)
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Forklift Operator for a company based in Elkwood, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills within a team‑focused operation that supports long‑term career development in the industrial and logistics field.
Pay Rate
$16.00+ per hour, based on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am (2nd shift)
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory
accuracy and organization.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the
appropriate personnel for repair.
• Always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing
appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous forklift experience: on-site training will be provided for company-specific
equipment and procedures.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Strong attendance and punctuality to support daily production needs.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols.
• Consistent focus on quality to ensure materials are handled and stored properly.
• Ability to speak fluent Spanish to support communication within a bilingual team.
