Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Bilingual (German/English) Austrian Audit Manager / Business Developer to join our dynamic and fast-growing firm. This role is designed for an Austrian Certified Public Accountant (Wirtschaftspr fer) who is eager to take on a leadership position within our Austrian Business Development Team while managing complex audit engagements for international clients.
The position focuses on serving foreign-owned, primarily German-speaking middle-market companies operating in the United States, providing tailored audit, accounting, tax, and advisory solutions.
Key Responsibilities Audit & Client Engagement-
Lead and manage audit and review engagements for annual financial statements in accordance with:

Austrian GAAP (UGB)

Serve as the primary client contact for internationally oriented middle-market clients

Independently plan, organize, and oversee audit teams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance

Collaborate with tax and advisory professionals on interdisciplinary client projects

Actively contribute to the growth of the Austrian client base in the U.S.

Participate in networking events, seminars, and client presentations

Build long-term relationships with Austrian and German-speaking businesses operating in the U.S.

Identify opportunities for expanded services and cross-border advisory support

Mentor and lead a team of audit professionals

Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership capabilities

Work closely with internal teams across audit, tax, and consulting functions

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

Successfully completed the Austrian Certified Public Accountant (Wirtschaftspr fer) exam

5 10+ years of hands-on audit experience

Strong technical knowledge of:

Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
